Tell me more about the cranberry
The cranberry is a little, red, tart fruit with a big punch, and Wisconsin produces more of this power-packed berry than any other state. In fact, Wisconsin cranberry growers harvest more than 60 percent of the U.S. cranberry crop.
The oldest cranberry marshes in the Warrens area date back to the 1870s. We have local families who have been growing cranberries for five, six and even seven generations.
Explore the world of cranberries by visiting the Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center any time of the year, but we especially encourage you to come during cranberry harvest, which runs from mid-September into early November.
