The Wisconsin Cranberry Discovery Center held the annual “Holiday Open House” event in conjunction with “The Warrens Holiday Experience” on December 3, 2011. The 2011 – 2012 Warrens Cranberry Festival Royalty members were in attendance and, along with WCDC staff members, provided cooking demonstrations of some delectable recipes using our favorite and incredibly versatile fruit, the cranberry!
Visitors were able to sample not only the recipes demonstrated, but were able to sample three award-winning cranberry wines from DnA Vintners.
Most people took advantage of the open house to do a little holiday shopping for gifts for their friends and family members. “Hot” items included cranberry salsas, dip mixes and of course cranberry wines. If you’re interested in any of those items, check our our online store.
Special thanks to our area business partners who made up “The Warrens Holiday Experience” – Berry Amish, The Bog Restaurant and Jellystone Park!
