Drum roll, please!  The recipes have been submitted, our taste test kitchen judges have weighed in and it’s time to announce the winners of our 2011 fourth quarter recipe contests for “Cranberry Side Dishes!”

First place goes to Ms. Annette Mackey for her “Cranberry Cornbread.”

Second place goes to Mr. Bob Nopper for his “Cranberry Walnut Slaw.”

Third place goes to Ms. Bridget Hanzalik for her “Cranberry Orange Relish.”

Winners received a copy of the “Wisconsin Cranberry Growers Favorite Recipes” cookbook and the first place winner will receive a “Berry Special Cranberry Gift.”

   Cranberry Corn Bread is a creative way to add cranberry on cornbread. Congratulations to the new winners. I hope that the latest contestant can think of something wonderful using cranberries.
