Cranberry Walnut Cookies

Our Taste-Test Kitchen made 25 dozen cranberry walnut cookies for the Wisconsin Women in Agriculture program, held recently at the state capitol.

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1-1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2-1/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1-1/2 cups sweetened dried cranberries

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Add the flour, soda and salt, mixing thoroughly. Fold in the walnuts, white chocolate chips and sweetened dried cranberries.

Drop by spoonfuls on a cookie sheet and bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 9 to 11 minutes.
