Cranberry Pancake Syrup

2nd Place- Cranberry Pancake Syrup, submitted by Connie Loomis, Brusett, MT

  • 8 1/2 Cups Fresh Ground Cranberries from Warrens, WI.
  • 9 Cups Water
  • Or may use:
  • 1/2 Water and 1/2 Cranberry/ Pomagranate Juice

Bring to a boil, stirring often. Simmer about 30 minutes. Add 5 Cups Sugar, simmer until thick, about an hour. Pour into pint or quart jars. Water bath 20 minutes.

Makes about 4 1/2 quarts
